ALESIS IO2 MIDI DRIVER DOWNLOAD

I'm trying to insert a picture of my MC track I had the system working initially, but had to dismantle it and when I reassembled it, I experienced this problem. I think my original problem was not using a2jmidi. Worked perfectly first try without even checking anything. This is a "user" forum, not tied to cakewalk support.

I've pasted a copy of my midi recording results and the setting used in the tracks. I can see a little activity in thre recording bar of the track, but not at the level it would appear to be recording.

The Devices can see the ios2 as both input and output, and they are activated. I can see the device in my system prefs and in Garageband 8 prefs.

Then when I tried it again Jack hadn't started middi wrong soundcard configured so it got confused. I think it sounds better, I think it has better headroom for loud sounds, or perhaps it's that playback to headphone speakers is better.

So has anybody been able to figure out how to get this to work with our downgrading my OS, or do I need to start researching other audio interfaces? Reply Leave a Reply. Since the input says "Audio 1", that leads me to believe you're trying to record MIDI on an audio track.

As I alesia earlier, I can see activity in the monitors of both the MC midi activity indicator bottom right of the screen and I can see activity under midi out on my usb alesis io2 interface device during the assumed recording and playback of a track.

I am still waiting to hear back from Alesis but losing hope fast. One wrong number in a box and the whole thing stops working.

Chris D Employee June 09, I can record from my keyboard via the cable input on my usb from the headphone output from my keyboard using an AUDIO track--and yes I think the other issues you mentioned about the keyboard allowing data to pass thru needs to be researched.

Okay, I have a Casio WK midi compatable connected thru my alesis usb interface device with the proper connections midi-out usb to midi-in keyboard and visversus. I have Peavey mixer that I use to play the sound out of the MC. To start the conversation again, simply ask a new question.

No set up even. All advice suggested that we should use the ASIO4ALL driver, which I've downloaded and with assistance from a local music shop have finally got it working. The channel is 1-general midi.
